AARYN

Aaryn was born in Chicago and raised in Gary, Indiana. From an early age, he developed a deep passion for storytelling, drawn to the power of narratives to inform, inspire, and connect people. His dream has always been to tell stories in any form possible—whether through photography, literature, music, or film. Over time, he discovered a particular love for cinematography, captivated by the ability to envision a story and transform it into a living, visual experience.

This passion became the driving force behind his creative journey, pushing him to refine his craft and pursue excellence in an industry known for its challenges. As a young Black gay man, Aaryn is fully aware that success in the film industry is not easily accessible, and that systemic barriers continue to exist. Rather than deterring him, these obstacles serve as motivation. They fuel his determination to create meaningful work, amplify underrepresented voices, and carve out space for stories that deserve to be seen.

Aaryn approaches his work with resilience, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. Through his storytelling, he seeks not only to entertain, but to challenge perspectives, spark conversation, and leave a lasting impact.
